A credible nomination starts with evidence and story.

The strongest submissions explain what the nominee accomplished, why it mattered, and how their work advanced Chinese American sports history. Include links, records, news coverage, photos, letters of support, or any materials that help the selection committee verify and understand the nominee's contribution.

Nomination Categories

Use the category that best describes the nominee's primary contribution. If more than one applies, include that context in the reason for nomination.

Athletes and Teams

Competitors or programs recognized for achievement, leadership, records, championships, or historic firsts.

Coaches and Mentors

Leaders who developed athletes, strengthened programs, and shaped character through sport.

Individuals who opened doors, organized institutions, advanced access, or helped build lasting opportunity.

Submissions should be complete enough for the committee to begin review and follow up with confidence.

Gather the nominee's full name, sport or field, achievements, a short biography, your relationship to the nominee, and the clearest reason they should be considered.

Provide name, role, sport, era, location, and Chinese American sports connection.

Show why this story should be preserved and who was inspired or served by the nominee's work.
